Project Scope: Full Branding Concept

This brand focuses on capturing and preserving the unique stories and important moments of community members. It acts as a library of untold stories, each showcasing an individual’s special legacy. The goal is to provide families with a treasured record of their loved ones’ stories, helping them maintain their heritage and keep their legacies alive for future generations.

Real People Reel Legacies Overview

I developed the branding idea for Real People, Reel Legacies. This brand captures and saves the unique stories and key events of community members. It serves as a collection of untold stories, each showcasing a person's legacy. The aim is to give families a cherished record of their loved ones' stories, helping to preserve their heritage and keep their legacies alive for future generations.

Color Palette

For Real People, Reel Legacies, I picked a color palette that shows the brand's values. These colors together create a visual identity that honors the past and celebrates lasting legacies:

  • Plum: Represents depth and resilience, symbolizing strong community ties and lasting legacies:

  • Gold: Stands for strength and endurance, highlighting the valuable contributions of past generations.

  • Olive Green: Associated with harmony and growth, it reflects nurturing relationships vital to a thriving community.

  • Black: A classic color that adds sophistication and strength, enhancing the respect for preserved stories.

The Logo

For the logo design of Real People, Reel Legacies, I intentionally merged the letter "R" with the image of a camera to reinforce the brand's core message. The "R" stands as a direct reference to the name, *Real People*, while also symbolizing the stories and legacies of individuals. By incorporating the camera, I wanted to emphasize the brand’s focus on documenting and preserving personal histories. The camera serves as both a literal and symbolic representation of capturing memories, tying directly into the business's purpose of recording life stories and milestone moments. This fusion of elements creates a cohesive, meaningful design that reflects both the personal and documentary aspects of the brand.
