Project Scope: Podcast Branding & Cover Art
This podcast project aimed to create branding and cover art for the Transfer Take 5 Podcast at Cuyahoga Community College, showcasing the experiences of transfer students at different schools. It features casual discussions on key topics like academic programs, support services, campus culture, and personal stories. The design emphasizes student empowerment with bright visuals that attract listeners. The podcast is unscripted, promoting authentic conversations between host Melissa Swafford and guests. Before recording, each school will hold planning meetings to focus on important topics and share relevant student stories, with tailored questions for each episode to highlight their unique experiences.

Through visually appealing podcast art and cohesive branding, the goal was to create a recognizable and compelling identity for Transfer Take 5, ensuring the podcast stands out as a valuable resource for students navigating the transfer process.
Color Palette
The color scheme was inspired by the branding I created for the Transfer Center. I wanted to keep it aligned with the Transfer Center's identity while fitting it for their podcast, Transfer Take 5. The colors follow the Cuyahoga Community College AP Style Guide, which influenced the design. The palette evolved to match the podcast's branding.
The Cover Art Illustraton
The artwork shows the friendly and helpful spirit of the podcast series, illustrating students' journey from point A to point B. The GPS sign symbolizes the starting point, while the path to graduation marks an important milestone. These images are designed to connect the podcast’s theme with its cover art, highlighting the overall experience of students at the Transfer Center.
